If using animal skin/leather can endangered animals, please tell me where i can get synthetic tiger skin/leather and peacocks fur. Because barongan and dadak merak, as crucial elements of Reog Ponorogo, using those materials as the component.

I like eating meat and wearing animal fur.

question: is creating plastic goods to take the place of animal products (ex. pleather for clothing & shoes, plastic fur) better for the environment than using actual animals? as in.. will these plastic products that are more disposable (they are cheaper, therefore people are less likely to hold on to them for long periods of time because they have no financial investment in them) harm the environment (where animals live) moreso than using actual animals?

Animals, including humans, don't want to be skinned alived, eaten, mutilated, or beaten and they will frequently resist with all their might. If I try to beat you or any other animal, you will most certainly resist, where as these women only have to say "stop" so their is a fundamental difference.

Besides that what is so sacred about the human body? For millions of years humans basically didn't wear clothes at all, its only something recently developed and it something which is placed value by individual cultures. There is no good reason why our natural bodies should be source of embarrassment or suffering.

On the other hand, skinning someone alive is certainly a source of monumental suffering, as is taking a Seal or another animal, killing it and skinning it alive in front of its mother, or having a rabbit see other rabbits get their heads sliced straight off. I am sick of people using the excuse that PETA abuses women, there is no comparison at all to the suffering and brutality caused in animals.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with encouraging the ethical treatment of all animals. Whether or not you agree with PETA's methods or not we should all agree that raising awareness to animal cruelty is a good thing. Wearing fur is so excessive and usually just an attempt of displaying wealth. Maybe those shallow people should buy a benz instead...at least that wouldn't involve murdering innocent animals

showing hot bodies doesnt make ppl like me, who are uncomfortable with their bodies, want to go naked. Petas ads dont make sense to me.

Defend animals - ok, kill 90% of them saved - not so ok... So, PETA is not good. Simple.
