We check up at the end of the week and if we don’t get the information we need, we double the time we leave them underground. Repeat the process (doubling the time constraint, of course) and then after 64 weeks, leave them with nothing and check up on week 128. That way, we can bypass laws regarding death penalties and will most likely extract some useful information. In the event that we do extract information, the informant will be executed for participation in terrorism, after all, he does have the information and therefore he is a part of it.
